"The word Yoga literally means union."

Yoga is a science developed thousands of years ago to help with physical mental and spiritual health.

We follow the practice of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga techniques. Hatha Yoga originated from Lord Shiva(Nath Tradition), and Ashtanga Yoga originated in India from Sage Patanjali.    

We will practice,

 Pranayama or breathing methods,

Asanas or poses

Meditation with sound therapy, mantras and Yoga Nidra.

Why should kids do yoga?

 

Today our kids are living in a busy hurry-up world. They are in the pressures of school, video games, and competitive sports. Yoga can help counter these pressures gradually. Kids learn techniques to enhance self-health, relaxation and inner fulfilment.

There are many benefits that children can achieve from Yoga practice. Physically it is improving flexibility, strength, and coordination. In addition, calmness, concentration and relaxation improve. yoga brings the inner light to all the children to face for new challenges with positivities.

BEFORE COMING TO YOGA CLASS YOU NEED TO :

 

  • Please bring your own yoga mat

  • Avoid eating for at least up to 1 hour and 15 minutes before the class

  • please keep shoes outside 

  • Bring your own water bottle

  • First-time students, please come 15 minutes earlier for registration
